Summer holidays are over for the International GT Open! The traditional and much-awaited Spa-Francorchamps rendez-vous is around the corner (6-7 September) and will bring a number of interesting novelties, with some new contenders joining the field.
AF Corse has confirmed the entry of two new Ferraris F458 GT3, joining the three regular ones, with interesting pairs: young Russian Nikita Zlobin and Italy’s Luca Persiani will drive one of these cars, the other being entrusted to Richard Lyons and Pasin Lathouras, who usually race in Britain.
Some participants already seen this year are also back for the race in the Belgian Ardennes: it is the case of the Spirit Race Audi R8LMS, now under the Attempto Racing banner, which double their presence with two cars for Dietmar Haggenmüller-Armin Aka and a full feminine pair composed of Suzanne Weidt and Michelle Gatting.
Are also back the Easy Race Ferrari seen at Hungaroring and for the first time this year, the Mosler of popular GT racer Rafael Unzurrunzaga.
The entry list for Spa will be published early next week ahead of a weekend that will be packed with action on the track, as the Euroformula Open, the BRCC, the SEAT Leon Eurocup and the Radical European Masters will share with the fun with the GT Open.
