Nick Tandy, a new Porsche factory driver

Following his excellent 2012 season, in which he took the runner-up position in the International GT Open and won the Porsche Cup, Nick Tandy has been appointed a factory driver for Porsche, joining the 10-driver squad of Stuttgart. “It’s an honour and something I dreamt of since I started racing in Porsche Cups. I will make the utmost to merit this trusts”, said the 28-year Brit.

Some press reports state his 2013 racing programme may include again the GT Open. Marco Holzer, his team mate in the series this year and now a fellow Porsche works driver, was confirmed an ALMS programme also in 2013, but this time with Paul Miller Racing.
